Leon Can Feel

STOP-MOTION / 2D
Coming Summer 2026

About

Leon Can Feel is an upcoming short film directed by Anej Golčar and produced by Tatevik Martirosyan (NPA Studios).

Blending stop-motion and traditional 2D animation, the film explores the impact of constant exposure to negative news on our mental and emotional well-being. We follow Leon, a man in his late twenties, as he embarks on a journey toward healing and reconnection with himself and the world around him.

Director’s statement:

My generation has come of age in a world saturated with overstimulating, pervasive digital media. Without a frame of reference for life before the rise of hyper-connected platforms and relentless information flow, we often struggle to recognize and critically assess how this constant exposure shapes our mental and emotional well-being.

Creating this film allows me to explore a subject that feels both deeply personal and socially urgent. Through it, I hope to ignite meaningful dialogue and offer a thoughtful reflection on the psychological toll of doomscrolling in the digital age.
